For the 28 lucky ladies, Valentine’s Day 2018 will not be forgotten soon as Deyemi Okanlawon treated them to an unforgettable experience capped off by a screening of The Royal Hibiscus Hotel.
In the days leading up to Valentine, Deyemi had called on his followers to nominate a lady to be part of the Deyemi’s Giveaway. Special consideration was given to ladies who had recently overcome a tough time in either career, academics or marriage amongst many more. After the lucky ladies were announced via social media, Deyemi threw in an extra surprise by including the ladies who did the nominating as well.
The ladies were initially whisked off for a major facebeat session with celebrity makeup artist Depeju Ukachi of MsPayge before meeting up with Deyemi for drinks at Filmhouse Imax, Lekki. After seeing The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, the ladies were handed Valentine packages which included items and service vouchers from Baker’s World, The Guzel Kadin Company, Sephiena, Tribeless, Ara’s Handmade Designs, Abiks Signature, Equipment Hall, Sables Angels, Hush and Hush, Wax Direct and Florals & You.
Deyemi’s mother made a surprise appearance with a huge cake and the surprises were not to end there as Mo Abudu, Executive Producer of The Royal Hibiscus Hotel also stopped by to the delight of the ladies and even onlooking movie goers.
