Cosmetic surgeon, Dr Anu Adepoju, arraigned over client’s death

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has arraigned a cosmetic surgeon, Dr Anu Adepoju, over the death of her client, Nneka Onwuzuligbo, among other infractions.

Adepoju was arraigned on Friday alongside her firm, MedContour Services Ltd, before Justice Mohammed Liman at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The cosmetic surgeon, who was arrested on Wednesday, was arraigned for allegedly obstructing the investigation by the FCCPC into the case.

The FCCPC, in the five-count charge, accused the cosmetic surgeon of shunning summons by the agency to appear and produce certain documents.
