It really has been the best of times for Davido has he’s struck with a twin tragedy, losing 2 friends in less than a week. Must be really hard for anyone. Few days after Tagbo’ s death which saw former actress Caroline Danjuma call out Davido to give an account of his death; Davido’s disk jockey, DJ Olu was reportedly found dead in his car with another friend. There is no autopsy report for both deaths yet but many are already having Davido’s head…accusing him of being responsible for his friends’ demise and using them for rituals. Davido had also come under fire for continually performing amidst the happenings around him. Davido was billed to perform at the annual Felebration tomorrow but he seem to have succumbed to pressure as he just denounced his absenteeism from the performance line up for tomorrow’s event. He made this known via his Snap page with a statement that reads “To all my fans expecting me at Felabration tomorrow, I’m sorry, I will not be performing anymore. I promise to make it up. I love you guys! Everyone stay prayed up! I love each and everyone of you… ❤?”
He further posted a bible passage Matthew 5:4 that reads “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” which evidently references the death of his 2 friends.
We pray that he is granted the fortitude to bear such irreparable loss.
