Ex-ThisDay Style editor Ruth Osime celebrates 60th birthday with Mo Abudu, Nkiru Anumudu, others

Former editor of ThisDay Style Magazine Ruth Osime clocked 60 on Wednesday and had a nice time with friends at EbonyLife Place situated in the Victoria Island area of Lagos.

The gathering was hosted by the chief executive of EbonyLife Group Mo Abudu and socialite Nkiru Anumudu.

Also present was the editor of ThisDay Style, Konye Nwabogor; blogger Azuka Ogujiuba; fashion designer Lanre Da Silva; and life coach Pat Faniran among others.

Osime shared a video from the occasion on Instagram on Thursday, saying she was amazed at how much the hosts went into setting up the event.

“My birthday soiree hosted by my peeps @moabudu and #nkiruanumudu…at @ebonylifeplace was such a beautiful evening filled with so much fun and laughter. I was amazed at the extent these two amazing women went through to make this day extra special for me,” she wrote.

“The decor was amazing, the guests enthralling, the food delightful and the fun and games…second to none! Thank u so very much, I love you both very dearly.”

On Wednesday, Osime wrote on Instagram, “This is 60. I thank Him for EVERYTHING!!! I thank all my friends, family, well wishers and loved ones for their unwavering support. I thank Him for His love and compassion on my life. THANK YOU FATHER.”
