Halima Babangida married Sarkin Sudan of Gombe, Auwal Abdullahi in a grand series of events culminating in the luxe wedding dinner which took place in May 2017.
The wedding dinner was hosted at the bride father, former head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ibrahim Babangida‘s El-Amin International School in Minna. The event was organised and managed by premier event management company, Elizabeth R.
The Elizabeth R team shared the inspiration for the dinner with BellaNaija Weddings – the family wanted a classy and heavenly themed reception with a touch of gold. The creative team at Elizabeth R, led by Ibidunni Ighodalo, set out to work and executed the theme to perfection.
The venue was accentuated with strings of crystals and white paper clouds hanging from the ceiling. Intricate ornaments such as Grecian busts and glass centrepieces were also infused in the décor while a bed of flowers and candles surrounded the three-tier cake. Guests feasted with gold plates and cutlery while special Versace plates were laid on the bride and groom’s table.
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele was among many notable personalities who witnessed the ceremony while Wande Coal,Mr Eazi and Maleek Berry were on hand to entertain the guests.
