Gumel Emirate is made up of the four councils of Sule Tankarkar, Gumel, Maigatari and Gagarawa Local Government Areas.

Aminu listed the roads to include the Gagarawa-Bosuwa, Matsatstsagi-Dankumbo, Sule Tankarkar-Maitsamiya, Sule Tankarkar-Dangwanki, Gumel-Garin Gambo and Mijingini-Hannun Giwa.

He noted that state government had constructed over 1,280 km of roads in the 27 local government areas of the state.

“We have constructed over 1,280 kilometres of roads from 2015 to date.

“These roads include those we inherited from the previous administration and new ones initiated by us.

“Some of the roads are Gagarawa-Hammado, Bekarya-Mele, Garin Gambo-Garin Baki, as well as the renovated Kwanar Medu-Danzomo-Garki road,” the commissioner said.

On rural electrification, Usman said the state had fixed damaged power lines at Gagarawa and installed solar-powered street lights at Yalleman–Dakayyawa, Sara, Jobi, Kanya Babba, Danzomo, Gujungu and Jigawar Dan-Ali.

He assured that Bulangu, Birniwa Tsohuwa and Hammado would soon benefit from the project.
