Man Utd Intensify Efforts to Complete Matheus Cunha Transfer

Manchester United are making steady progress toward signing Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha, with final contract details currently being negotiated.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Monday, stating, “Manchester United keep working to seal Matheus Cunha deal very soon, plan confirmed since one week ago.” He also highlighted that Cunha is “keen on joining the project,” hinting at positive momentum in negotiations.

This update follows Romano’s earlier report on April 21, when United emerged as frontrunners for the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker. At that point, personal terms were under discussion, though competition from other clubs was still in play. Cunha’s contract reportedly includes a £62.5 million release clause.

Romano added that there were “good feelings” from the initial conversations, pointing to strong mutual interest in wrapping up the deal soon.
