‘If you no love me, no love my money’ – Mr 2kay shades Gifty in new song

Nigerian singer, Mr. 2Kay who got into a back and forth exchange with Big Brother Naia 2017 housemate, Gifty, after she denied ever being in a relationship with him, threw a major shade on her on his new song titled ‘My Money’ off his recently released album ‘Elevated‘.

Mr. 2kay who perfomed at Big Brother Naija 2018 eviction show last Sunday, said in his song;

If you no love me, no love my money/ the guy carry her matter for head o/ them two begin to live together o/ like play, like play, she con turn public figure o/ but still on still, the guy still dey love am o/ but she dey give am lamba, plenty lamba/ dem go dey ask am of my guy, she go say she’s single/.

In a 2017 interview Gifty gave, she disclosed that Mr. 2Kay is not relevant to her, even though he claimed that he was instrumental in making former Big Brother Nigeria housemate what she is now.

In a chat with Sunday Scoop, Gifty refuted the claims that Mr 2kay helped her to rise in the industry.

“This is serious . Firstly, I want to clear the air on what was said. God Almighty alone made me who I am today. Many years ago after my step-dad passed away, God gave me the kind of strength that I had never felt before in my life. He shamed those who thought I wouldn’t make it in life.

Secondly, major kudos goes to my mum. She has been my strength all through my life. A widow supporting four kids isn’t a joke; she is my inspiration. And about what that person (Mr 2kay) said; well, I will not say anything for now because his matter is not relevant to me. My only joy right now is how God has supported me so far in building a strong foundation for my future” she said.
