UFUOMA MCDERMOTT & UCHE JOMBO CELEBRATE WITH OMONI OBOLI IN MAKOKO

Omoni Oboli may now be box office queen but she has not forgotten her days of humble beginnings when she could barely afford to eat decent meals with her mother and sister. In a symbolic gesture, she chose to celebrate her 40th birthday with kids in Makoko following the launch of Sister Lizzy’s Kitchen. Named after her late mother, Sister Lizzy’s Kitchen is an initiative of the Omoni Oboli Foundation with the mission of feeding 500 children weekly. She was joined by her bosom friends, Uche Jombo & Ufuoma McDermott as all three ladies turned caterers and servers handing out meals to the children.

As part of her 40th birthday celebrations, she is set to launch her memoir ‘Stars Are Ageless’ which offers first-hand accounts of Omoni’s defining moments. From the death of her mother to the Okafor’s Law debacle, Omoni paints a picture using nothing but her own experiences as the medium. Stars Are Ageless goes on sale nationwide soon.
